WCL is looking to recruit an Environmental Operator Assistant
for a leading pet food manufacturer based in Tarleton near Leyland.
It’s a full-time position. The hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5:30pm.
We are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role.
The job will require the successful candidate to assist in the operation
of the Odour Abatement and Waste Water Treatment Plants. Main duties involve:
cleaning and maintenance of plants hence good mechanical skills are essential.
Other duties are: land spreading, frequent use of a forklift truck as well as 360-degree mechanical digger.
The ideal candidate will be honest, not afraid to take initiative,
be reliable and responsible with excellent communication skills.
Please note that the job includes outdoor work in all weathers.
